Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of paydrop.app at paydrop.app. By creating an account, selling, buying, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use paydrop.app.
1. What paydrop.app is (platform only)
paydrop.app is a technology platform and intermediary. We provide tools for sellers (“Sellers”) — including creators, professionals, and other individuals or businesses — to publish a digital file or private URL, set a price, and share a payment link, and for buyers (“Buyers”) to pay and unlock access.
paydrop.app does not create, own, endorse, inspect, or guarantee the quality, legality, accuracy, safety, or fitness of any content sold by Sellers. We are not a party to the payment agreement between Buyer and Seller, except as necessary to operate payment routing and access delivery through the platform.
2. Buyer–Seller disputes
Any dispute about product quality, content, delivery, refunds, misrepresentation, or similar issues must be resolved directly between the Buyer and the Seller. paydrop.app is not responsible for Seller promises, descriptions, or the usefulness of the asset.
- Buyers should contact the Seller using the support options shown after purchase when available.
- Buyers may also use the in-product Report link feature if they believe a listing is broken, misleading, or unsafe. Reports may pause new payments for review; reporting does not create a refund obligation for paydrop.app.
- paydrop.app may, at its sole discretion, assist with account or access issues (for example restoring a valid access link), but is not obligated to mediate commercial disputes or issue refunds on behalf of Sellers.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for securing your account and for the accuracy of your profile information. You must have legal capacity to contract and, if you sell, full rights to offer the content you publish. Sellers must provide accurate identity and payout information required by our payment partner.
You may delete your seller account from the dashboard (Profile → Danger zone). Deletion immediately deactivates your listings, removes uploaded files from our servers, and ends buyer access to those purchases. We keep a soft-deleted record for up to 30 days for security and support, then scrub personal data. Closing your account does not cancel obligations already incurred (for example chargebacks or fees due).
4. Seller content
- Only upload material you own or have rights to distribute.
- Illegal, malicious, misleading, infringing, or fraudulent content is prohibited.
- You alone are responsible to Buyers for the quality, legality, and delivery of the asset.
- We may suspend or remove listings or accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
5. Purchases and access
Buyers must provide a valid email. After a successful payment, access is delivered via a temporary token/link subject to platform limits (for example download count and expiry). If a Buyer loses the link, they can use Find my purchases with the same checkout email. Prices are shown in USD as set by the Seller (within platform limits).
Seller account deletion: if a Seller deletes their paydrop.app account, Buyers may lose access to that Seller’s files or links immediately, even if a download window (for example 7 days) has not ended. Buyers should download promptly after purchase. Disputes arising from Seller deletion are between Buyer and Seller; paydrop.app is the technology intermediary.
6. Payments and card data (tokenization)
Card payments are processed by Stripe (or another licensed payment processor we designate). paydrop.app uses tokenization: card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are entered and handled on Stripe’s systems. paydrop.app does not store credit or debit card numbers in its database.
Fees, payouts, and processor terms are disclosed in the product and/or by Stripe. Refunds, chargebacks, and Seller payout timing follow Stripe’s rules, the Seller’s policy where applicable, and law. paydrop.app’s platform fee is 5% of the listed document price, capped at $25 USD per transaction. Card processing fees charged by Stripe (~2.9% + $0.30) are separate and are not capped by paydrop.app.
7. Public profile
You can make your profile and each resource public or private. Anything marked public may be indexed or shared by URL.
8. Availability and enforcement
We aim to keep the service stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may suspend accounts, pause listings (including after community reports), or remove content that violates these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, paydrop.app and its operators are not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; lost profits; lost data; or any claim arising from content, quality, or conduct of Sellers or Buyers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to paydrop.app (if any) in the three months before the claim.
